Could you tell us a little about yourself?
I started drumming in 1993 in our church and never stopped! Married in 2000, I have a beautiful wife and two amazing kids today. I was born and raised in South African but am currently living in Northern Ireland (moved over here in 2004). I have played on various albums, at camps, worship events and really enjoy being involved in drum circles. I also relate to Psalm Drummers (psalmdrummers.org)

What advice would you give to young drummers who is serving or intended to serve in the worship department?
Keep an eye on your heart. Is it for God? Is it to worship Him? Practice your skill and grow in it, don’t slack off and become lazy. Be positive and confident in your playing and submit to your worship leader. Take care of your drums and do your best to worship when you play.

What do you like to do besides drums?
I enjoy writing. I also spend a lot of time writing articles for and maintaining my Christian Drummer web site – http://www.christiandrummers.net

Lastly, in your own words, how would you encourage more drummers to this website?
By linking from my site to yours (which I have already done). I would love to do an article on the Drummer4Christ web site too! It is good for all drummers to relate to each other, especially Christian drummers.
